How to manage Project Schedules? If a Project is running out of time, how to finish it in time?

To adjust Project Schedule and finish the project in time adjust the following parameters:

  • Time: Extend the project finish date
  • Scope: Eliminated or alter project activities
  • Cost: Throw overtime at the problem task
  • Performance: Lower standards

To finish the project in time, if it is or has ran out of time, Start activities in parallel.

  1. See the activities that have float , and can be compressed by allocating more resources.

  2. Check out if by changing Methodology time can be squeezed.

  3. Check out if better jigs , fixtures can be employed.

  4. Check out if pre cast elements can be introduced.

  5. Will increase in manpower help
